    Position Summary
    The Upper School English Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and rigorous English instruction to Upper School students.

    Essential Responsibilities
    • Develop and implement a dynamic English curriculum that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a love of literature.
    • Assign and assess student work, providing timely and constructive feedback.
    • Build positive relationships with students and parents to support academic and personal growth.
    • Maintain a structured, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
    • Contribute to the English Department’s collaborative goals and initiatives.
    • Engage in the broader school community through student advising, clubs, coaching, mentoring, or other extracurricular activities.

    Position Details
    • Employment Type: Full-time, 10-month, Exempt
    • Benefits: Eligible
    • Breaks: Two weeks off for winter and spring breaks
    • Compensation: $46,000–$64,000 annual salary

    • Work is primarily performed in a classroom setting.
    • Frequent movement within and between buildings.
    • Regular interaction with students, faculty, and staff.
    • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and copiers.

    Position Summary
    The Assistant Director of Admissions & Enrollment is a key contributor to recruiting and enrolling students. The individual collaborates with members of the Admissions team, and their marketing colleagues to present the school to prospective students. To be successful the individual must believe in the mission of the school and the value it offers to students.

    Responsibilities
    • Recruit and enroll students to the school
    • Maintain complete and accurate admission records
    • Assist with organizing and hosting in-person and virtual events, such as open houses,
      informational sessions, and coffees
    • Conduct tours and interviews with prospective students and their families
    • Follow through with prospective students/families, from the point of inquiry through enrollment
    • Maintain frequent communication with prospective students/families throughout the process
    • Manage the student and parent ambassador program
    • Complete other assignments as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Enrollment
    • Work collaboratively with marketing colleagues to plan and execute campaigns

    Reporting Structure – Reports to Director Admissions & Enrollment

    Travel – Local day travel and occasional overnight travel is required

    Status – Exempt, Full time, 12-month position

    Schedule – 7:45am-4:15pm with some nights and weekends required

    Compensation - $65,000-$75,000 annually
    Working Environment & Physical Requirements
      • Generally, the role is conducted in a heated and cooled office environment
      • Most of the work is done sitting or standing
      • Routinely move about inside the building and from building to building
      • Frequent interaction with others through speaking, listening, and typing
      • Ability to operate office equipment including computers, printers, copiers, and the like

  • Extended Day Staff Member

    Schedule:
    • Extended day operates every school day from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm.
    • Position is open to anyone that can consistently work at least 2 days per week
    Responsibilities
    • Receive Pre-School through 4th grade students as they enter the facility
    • Provide age-appropriate activities
    • Ensure student safety
    • Escort students to the parking lot at the end of their day
    Reports to: Judi Morrissey, Extended Day Manager
     
    Status: This is a part-time, hourly position
     
    Compensation: $14.20 - $24.00
     
    Requires a background check and submission of fingerprints to the NY State Education Department
