College Counseling
Academy graduates are prepared to achieve great success in life and go on to attend many of the finest colleges and universities in the nation.
At The Albany Academies, our personalized college program steers students in the right direction. We provide our Upper School students with an individualized, comprehensive program that helps them choose the right college. The College Counseling Department also coordinates in-school visits with admission representatives from a wide array of colleges and universities.
Our highly experienced counselors encourage students and families to consider colleges that will be the best fit for them, not just those deemed prestigious by the outside world. With that said, the Academies regularly have students admitted to many of the nation’s top colleges and universities.
The College Counseling Department at The Albany Academies begins working with students and their families in Ninth Grade in order to make the college process stress-free. Our college counselors meet regularly with each student and takes special care in helping them understand their strengths and prioritize goals.
