Emily Downie Myzia ‘12 works in finance as a Client Experience Specialist. She graduated from the University of Rochester in 2016 with a degree in Engineering Science. During her time at the Albany Academy for Girls she participated heavily in athletics, serving as captain of the Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse teams her senior year. Her time in AAG athletics earned her a spot in the AAG Athletics Hall of Fame in 2020. She is thankful for the opportunities and education she received at AAG as a recipient of multiple academic scholarships and is passionate about strengthening the Academies alumni/alumnae community in order to ensure that future students like her are afforded the chance to attend such a high quality institution. She lives with her husband just outside of Washington D.C. in Largo, MD.
